Italian insurance coverage big Generali has accomplished its swoop for Liberty Mutual’s largest enterprise exterior of the US. The €2.3 billion deal, in response to Generali, is its largest acquisition in a decade.

The finalized transaction now makes Generali the proprietor of Liberty Seguros in Spain, Portugal, Eire, and Northern Eire.
